Workshops by this speaker

Teaching with Bible Games*

Location: FBC 222
The educational experts tell us that we should spend one-third of our class time reviewing our lessons and Bible messages. But, won't our students become bored and grow restless if we go over the same material again and again? Learn about a review method that reinforces the main truths of your lesson, gives you excellent feedback, and leaves your students looking forward to your next class session.

Presenting the Gospel to Children*

Location: FBC 222
This session explores simple, effective ways to present the Plan of Salvation to children and teens, how to give an effective, no-pressure invitation, and how to deal with the child or teen in the counseling room.

Effective Visitation for Prospects

Location: FBC 222
Bus routes and van routes will never grow unless we are faithfully seeking new prospects. How do you win the trust of parents who have never been to your church and have never heard of your pastor? What do you do to allay their fears and reluctance? Should you approach children on the street? Do we always have to approach parents first?
