Sharon Sallmen

Sharon Sallmen was diagnosed with Dyslexia at the age of six by her first grade teacher. After a minimal amount of one-on-one training in the Language Arts, she was able to succeed in the classroom with little continued help. However, when her son and daughter received similar diagnosis, she decided to obtain further instruction on how to teach Dyslexic children. Sharon has tutored young people with similar learning challenges since 2014. She has helped students from Milford Christian Academy as well as local home-schoolers as a Dyslexia Specialist. It is her goal to help others understand the unique needs of children with Dyslexia.
