Micah Gillespie

Originally from Troy, OH, Micah’s love for music began at a young age through singing with his siblings, participating in youth choirs and orchestras, and “writing” songs at the piano. Micah began accompanying his church at age eleven. From there his passion for excellent sacred music only grew. While pursuing his degree in church music and piano pedagogy from Maranatha Baptist University, he spent four summers traveling for the school and performed with multiple ensembles, including the symphonic band, Madrigal Choir, and percussion ensemble. After graduation, Micah joined Southland, where he travels with their ministry team, oversees the production of their music recordings, and heads Southland Music Services, the publishing company they launched in 2024.
