Remember the first day of class? “What if ____________ happens? How should I take care of that?” you said to yourself. Any teacher who cares about his or her role of leadership in the classroom desires to be able to handle a variety of situations so that the class can go forward. What if discipline is lacking? What if the class culture is all wrong? What if your teaching style is lagging? What if students do not have a desire to learn? All of these questions, and questions submitted by those who attend, will be answered in this practical session designed to make you the best teacher you can be for the Lord.

Face it. There is no doubt that you will face the “sticks and stones” that people hurl while you sincerely follow Christ and lead others. How will you respond to these words? How will you react to the opposition? While many of us would like to duck, throw the sticks back, or pile up the stones to build a fortress, there are biblical principles to dealing with opposition that all of us need. Join us for an encouraging session that will give proper responses to what all of us face in ministry.

Leaders in education do not come naturally; they are fashioned on the anvil of preparation. Every staff member wants to be successful but few are willing to possess a servant’s heart that displays a teachable spirit to others. If you want to be all that you can be for the Lord and still be relevant, distinctive, and purposeful in developing leadership, then this session is for you.
