Melissa Roe

Melissa has served alongside her husband, Jim Roe, as a missionary sent out by the First Baptist Church in Milford, Ohio. Since 1998, the Roes have worked in a Restricted Access Nation, training nationals to do the Great Commission. Missions education has become an ever-growing priority in her life and she seeks to pass that on to others. Encouraging Christians to love and embrace a multi-lingual and multi-ethnic world is her passion. Jim and Melissa have two daughters, Jerusha and Kimi. In addition to missions work, Melissa writes, speaks, and teaches about missions.

Sharon Sallmen

Sharon was diagnosed with Dyslexia at the age of six by her first grade teacher. After a minimal amount of one-on-one training in the Language Arts, she was able to succeed in the classroom with little continued help. However, when her son and daughter received similar diagnosis, she decided to obtain further instruction on how to teach Dyslexic children. Sharon has been tutoring young people with similar learning challenges since 2014. She is currently working with students at Milford Christian Academy as well as local home-schoolers as a Dyslexic Specialist. It is her goal to help others understand the unique needs of children with Dyslexia.

Steve Schmuck
Pastor - Red Lion Bible Church

As a pastor’s son Bro. Steve was saved at the age of 26 years. He attended Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1988. Pastor Schmuck has been serving at the Red Lion Bible Church and Christian School for 29 years, having worked extensively in the bus ministry for 20 of those years. This fundamental church in Red Lion, Pennsylvania, leads a very effective gospel outreach in a rural, farming community of the state. Almost a decade ago Bro. Steve became the senior pastor of the Red Lion Bible Church.

Wendi Shadwick

Wendi became a member of First Baptist Church of Milford in 1998 and has been the nursery director since 2007. She is married to Kelly and they have 2 children: Eden and Liam.

Charles Shoemaker
President - Church Planting America

Charles Shoemaker was born and reared in the Chicago area, where he was converted to Christ at the early age of eight because gospel preaching churches were focused on children’s ministry. After being called to preach at age 16, he attended the Institute of Biblical Studies of Liberty University, earning a diploma in Bible. Since that time he has earned such degrees as an Ed.D. and an M.A. from colleges and universities, including a D.D. from Midwestern Baptist College. Dr. Shoemaker has been in full-time ministry since 1975 having served as a church planter and senior pastor. He served as the Administrative Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church and President/CEO of Trinity Baptist College for 15 years. Dr. Shoemaker travels extensively speaking in churches and pastors' conferences, taking him to all fifty states and 15 foreign mission fields. Dr. Shoemaker currently serves as the President of Church Planting America--a missions agency promoting church planting in the United States and throughout the world. He and his wife, Sharon, have been married for 45 years and reside in Jacksonville, Florida. They have two daughters, Amy and Emily; two sons-in-law, Dennis and Michael (all in full-time ministry); two grandsons, Charles and Daniel, and four granddaughters, Michaela, Sophia, Ella Grace, and Kate Marie.

Rebekah Shope
Administrative Secretary - Lighthouse Baptist

Rebekah Shope has been teaching English since her graduation from Crown College in 2005. She has covered all English courses from Speech and Drama to Creative Writing. She is currently the Administrative secretary at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Winchester, VA. She is married to the assistant pastor there and they have three children. Although she no longer teaches English, she has a heart for creating and publishing gospel literature through our young people.

Abb Thomas
Founder - Master Clubs

In the early 70’s, Abb began a youth and children’s ministry at Highland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee under the leadership of Dr. Lee Roberson that developed into Master Clubs and Master Ministries. After twenty years at Highland Park, Abb moved the ministry to Milford to be under the direct leadership of this local church. He has now trained leaders in over 7,000 churches and continues to travel across America training teachers and writing books.

Paul Thomas

Paul Thomas is the son of Abb and Janice Thomas, founders of Master Clubs. Bro. Paul has Down Syndrome, but he does not let that keep him from serving the Lord. Over the years he has traveled much with his mom and dad helping in the ministry wherever he could. Paul has preached in many churches and nationally known conferences and continues to be a blessing to many people in the ministry. During one of our general sessions you will have the opportunity for a few minutes to hear Paul preach and give his testimony.

Gayle Washington

Gayle Washington has been faithfully serving alongside of her husband David in the Children’s Ministry for 30 years. Her passion is to see women and children engaged in the work of the Lord through the local church. Gayle assisted Dr. Clarence Sexton at the Temple Baptist Church and Crown College for the last 17 years as a personal assistant and business administrator. In 2015 she started Professional Support Staff helping churches and ministries with support staff to result in the furtherance of the Gospel. She has been engaged in speaking in Women’s and Children’s conferences around the country and throughout the Caribbean.

David Williamson
Vice President - Biblical School of World Evang.

David Williamson serves as vice-president of Biblical School of World Evangelism (a ministry of First Baptist Church of Milford, Ohio) and possesses degrees in both Business Administration and Church Ministries. Brother Williamson was called to full-time ministry in 1997 after spending twenty years with the Clermont County Sheriff's Office, where he attained the rank of Lieutenant and was certified as a training administrator through the Ohio Peace Office Training Council.

Ryan Williamson

Ryan has served at the First Baptist Church of Milford for 4 years, and has primarily worked with the children’s ministry along side of Aaron Lanier and Dan Jessup. He graduated from the Biblical School of World Evangelism in May, and completed an internship over the 3 years he attended the college. Ryan now serves at the First Baptist Church of Milford in a staff apprenticeship.

Kenn Winn
Singles Ministry - First Baptist Church of Milford

Kenn Winn was raised in a Christian home and saved at the age of 12. He received his Bachelor and Master degrees from Pensacola Christian College, where he met his wife, Joy. In 2006, the Lord moved the Winn family to First Baptist Church of Milford where he served on the pastoral staff for seven years. In 2013, the Winn family moved down to direct the mission trip ministry of Bearing Precious Seed El Paso. After residing there for three years, the Lord led them back to FBC where he is again on pastoral staff. In addition to his responsibilities associated with the pastoral staff, Bro. Kenn still directs the BPS El Paso mission trip ministry.
