Twenty-nine percent of the world's population today lives in total darkness. There are billions with no Bible, no Church, and no Gospel witness. In the history of the Bible-believing, New Testament church, scores of people have answered the call to serve God on a foreign mission field. However, very few have taken up the mantle of responsibility in translation work. Our Bible colleges are full of students who could do something about it, yet few are going. If we continue to wait until our young people go to college to plant, water, and nurture the seed of missions, we have waited too long. This informative session is designed to raise awareness of those living in darkens in the 10/40 Window, creating a burden in your heart. This burden will help you to envision what God can, and desires to do with our young people.

Can a pastor lead his church in a biblical, Christ-honoring way, yet still be innovative in his approach to ministry? What ideas do we have to lead our churches in such a manner where we can “step outside the box” in ministry initiatives while maintaining obedience to biblical principles? We can live, work, and think in 2018 and stay within the framework of the New Testament church that began almost 2,000 year ago. We invite pastors to join us as we discuss these ideas.

For many of us, we have a plan for our family, our future, and our ministry. Often times, transition can come in and stop all of our plans. In some cases, it is extreme chaos that enters our life. Whether it is finances, health, grief, or many other areas of life, the chaos seems to overwhelm us. If we are not careful, it can distract us from our family ministry and our church ministry. In this session, we will discuss the chaos that can enter our life and learn from the Bible some practical ways that we can handle the chaos and transition that comes.

Remember the first day of class? “What if ____________ happens? How should I take care of that?” you said to yourself. Any teacher who cares about his or her role of leadership in the classroom desires to be able to handle a variety of situations so that the class can go forward. What if discipline is lacking? What if the class culture is all wrong? What if your teaching style is lagging? What if students do not have a desire to learn? All of these questions, and questions submitted by those who attend, will be answered in this practical session designed to make you the best teacher you can be for the Lord.

What do you do when you know one of your student’s family is going through a divorce? Many leaders do not know what to say or later regret what they did say because they were not trained to handle this issue properly. This workshop will equip the leader with answers and guiding questions for five primary areas of concern.

If there ever was a battleground for the souls of the next generation in the United States, it would have to be the field of public education. While many ministries long to advance the cause of Christ in such a venue, we often find that leaders are unprepared legally before entering the fray. What can we do, or not do, by law? This session with the Christian Law Association will give legal advice to teachers or staff that work in the public school, offer counsel to parents, and assist churches that are considering evangelistic outreaches within the school system.
