Now more than ever Bible believing ministries are using livestreaming, social media, and website pages to carry on the work of the gospel. Many of these online resources give the church a valuable means of service to congregants, Christian school students, and individuals who may be completely unfamiliar with the ministry. As vital as these tools are, the church should be aware of the precautions it needs to take when having such a broad digital reach. During this session, a CLA attorney will give legal advice concerning your ministry’s online presence and will answer any questions you may have as you try to “keep company” during a pandemic.

We serve the Lord in the midst of a very litigious society. Lawsuits are being hurled at ministries all the time. Often we discover that if simple measures were taken beforehand, a lawsuit would have never been filed in the first place. During this helpful session with a CLA attorney, leaders will learn how to be proactive with their people, policies, and practices and avoid the dreaded declaration, “I’m going to sue you.”

Do you know the addresses of your bus riders? Do you know if/when a bus rider has come to a saving knowledge of Christ? How about when someone off your route was baptized? You can organize to evangelize and disciple through your bus ministry, and one of the indirect results of doing so will be the legal protection it affords your church and ministry. Join us as we determine to improve our records and results in the Bus Ministry.

All of our ministries have wonderful people that fill various roles at different levels of responsibility. What church or school could advance for the cause of Christ without unpaid help? Many churches can improve their volunteer base, raise the level of expectations, and be better prepared legally to manage such a valuable group of God’s people. Attend this session to receive counsel from an attorney with the Christian Law Association, a ministry that has been representing Bible believing churches in legal proceedings for over four decades.
