The Fruitful Classroom – As Christians we are called to live Spirit-filled lives. In Galatians 5:22-25 we see the fruit of living a spirit-filled life. As we learn to demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit in the classroom, our students, too, can learn to live lives that glorify God and point others to Him.

Simply regurgitating facts about a topic or listing dates and names on a quiz or test used to be considered effective testing. However, research has proven that this type of academic assessment is not nearly as insightful as narrative writing. Regardless of the academic area, writing can be a revealer of a student's depth of knowledge about a topic. This session will highlight the "storytelling" technique that can be employed to gain a much clearer picture of what a young person really knows about a particular topic.
