Abuse is a scourge in our world today. Though churches have always had a heart to help the needy and suffering, abuse has often been an area in which more information and training is needed. In this session, Brother Foster will share some basic tools for helping to guide the abused into dealing with their abuse and finding healing in Christ. A few moments will be dedicated to explaining from Scripture the five (5) participants in every abusive situation and how to deal with them. This session is based upon the dissertation work that Brother Foster is doing presently.

Every generation struggles to connect with the generations behind and in front of them. The gap between each generation can be daunting and at times even seemingly impossible to bridge. But if the church is going to reach the world for Christ, it must find ways to get and keep the next generations engaged in the work of Christ. This session will attempt to explain the disconnects between current generations and how to get the younger generations to remain faithful as the next leaders of the church.

Often depression is treated as always being sinful, but, the fact is that depression is frequently a struggle even for those who are walking in step with the Lord. Bible examples abound of God's choicest servants being overcome by the emotional prison of depression. This session will seek to give a biblical overview of when depression is sin, when it is a "normal" part of life, and how to survive and thrive through depression's grasp.
