This session will greatly help a teacher get from the generalities of a truth to the specifics. A lesson that is dynamic must be specific. A 22-page booklet will show you how and you can share what you've learned with others back home! These are the methods we taught long ago in our church as it moved to over 11,000 attending weekly. A boring teacher can run off more than you can bring in, but not if your teaching is dynamic!

Children love music! Are you prepared with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs for your children's ministry? In this session we will be "unplugged"- no electricity, no screens, and no music other than what the Lord affords us to make ourselves. Join us to learn the what, why and how of music when working with children in Sunday School, Junior Church, Master Clubs, Bus Route, Vacation Bible School, etc. Such ideas as the song service, song selection, song leading, and helpful resources will all be included. Do not make the mistake of leaving this vital, spiritual facet out of your children's ministry

Today we see a big difference in how children are brought up and taught. This can present some opportunities in teaching these young lives. In I Tim. 3:15, Paul says we should know how to behave in the house of God. This class will give actions and ideas on how to keep the attention and control of preschool children so they can learn and not hinder other classmates from learning the Word of God. These practices will help us keep our classes decent and in order.

If you're interested in why FBCM does adult Bible studies the way we do, you'll learn why in this workshop. Even though each church does ministry in a unique, God-ordained context, every church leader wants to honor God by providing effective ministry within the local church. But sometimes, what worked in one church won’t work in every church. Focusing on core values derived from God’s Word instead of learning what programs worked in another church can help church leaders ask the right questions about offering effective ministry, particularly in the area of a church’s Sunday School ministry for adults.

Learn how to bring your puppet productions to the next level. Most churches that start a puppet program eventually allow it to fall by the wayside. The lack of success in using puppets as a visual creates a lack of interest and soon the puppets end up in a closet forgotten and unused. In this class, learn how to add a front person to the puppet program. Realize the importance of the audience being able to hear the puppeteers and if justified how to use sound equipment that is effective. Preplanned spontaneity displays the labor that you have invested and the confidence you have in the puppet character. Ad-libbing your script will be the result of a great puppet production and Christ will be honored and godly goals will be achieved.
