The two most neglected sessions of any Master Clubs program tend to be the Rally and Award Times, but we often fail to realize that these times of the club night are the most pivotal and set a tone for your program from week to week. If you plan and execute your Rally and Award Times well then your Book, Bible, and Game Times will naturally follow.

Outreach is hard right now. Many people we meet out-and-about don't want to speak with anyone they don't already know. So how can we cultivate opportunities to present the gospel? This workshop will share how FBCM is encouraging our church family to have one conversation about Christ with someone every week.

Opening the 10/40 Window is an exciting curriculum written by firstBible International to teach children about Unreached People groups in the 10/40 Window. The sessions will be a demonstration of how to present the curriculum in a classroom context. The curriculum is based on the Zhuang people of China. During the first hour, we will introduce the Zhuang people, explore their geography, and learn about their religion. Each individual lesson is informative, interactive, and ends with a biblical worldview. The second hour we will learn about their culture and language. The culmination of the curriculum is called Language Day, giving the students an opportunity to share what they have learned with other students, teachers, administration, and parents. Over the past five years, we have been teaching this curriculum as a pilot program to the elementary students at our school (Milford Christian Academy). It has been greatly accepted and has motivated teachers and students alike to continue learning about their people group, actively praying for them. If there is one element you could add to your children’s ministry that would train biblical, mission-minded students for all levels of ministry, Opening the 10/40 Window would be it!

Having served as an associate pastor for 19 years, I would like to help other assistants by outlining a few things they could do to help them be better assistants to the pastor, education directors, music directors or any type of paid assistant to the pastor. A second man exists to do nothing but to be the arms and legs of the pastor. A pastor is called by the church. An assistant pastor is hired only by the pastor.

In this age of globalism and postmodernism, the concept of missions has changed dramatically. The result of this is that we are seeing fewer and fewer of God’s people willing to actually GO and invest a lifetime of service on the foreign mission field. In this session we will consider the importance of God’s mission in the life of a Christian, and then introduce practical ways in which we can engage our children during our Master Clubs time with the possibility (without coercion) of God using them in a life of missionary service.

The 18-29 year old demographic is rapidly declining or practically non-existent in many of our local churches. Anywhere from 70-80% of young people walk away from church after graduating from high school. It does not have to be this way! Your church can have an active and thriving singles ministry that will energize your church. In this session, discover practical ways to reach, engage, and involve this age group in your church.

"No man lives and dies unto himself." We could also certainly say the same concerning the pastorate. God's requirement of us as shepherds is that we serve the flock by leading by faith. This workshop will be just as much a roundtable discussion as it will be a testimony of God's goodness to us through the mountains and valleys of serving Him. What has God done in your congregation to prove Himself faithful? What can you learn from God's work in other men who are experiencing the same problems as you are? Come prepared to engage for the edification of all.
