Tammy Zylka

Tammy Zylka received her Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from Miami University in 1980 and taught for six years in an elementary resource room. While teaching, she earned her Master’s Degree from Xavier University as a Reading Specialist. The Lord led her to homeschool her first son, who had attention issues during preschool. She then homeschooled all seven of her children for 26 years, until all graduated. In the fall of 2019, she began training under Sharon Sallmen, using the Wilson Reading System for Dyslexia. Since then, she has tutored homeschooled students and Milford Christian Academy students. Her desire is to help children, parents, and teachers learn ways to have success in education.
