Kyle Austin
Director - Campus Connect Ministries

Kyle is the director of Campus Connect Ministries which works with local churches to establish Collegians for Christ ministries on college campuses. He and his wife, Amanda, have served in ministry since 2005 with a strong focus on youth. God led them to establish a Collegians for Christ ministry at Appalachian State University over seven years ago where they dealt with the college campus and students first hand. While at App. State, God gave Kyle the opportunity to serve as the chaplain of the Appalachian State Wrestling team for a few years. They now assist with the CFC ministry at East Carolina University and travel the country training and assisting local churches to reach their campus with the Gospel.

Edward Barclay
Associate Pastor - First Baptist Church of Milford

In 1998 on a mission trip to South Africa with Bob Hayes, God began to burden Edward’s heart about full-time ministry. After surrendering to this call, he began to make preparations for training at Bible college. It was also during this time that he met his wife April; they were married in 2003 and have four children, Hayley, Caden, Alayna and Everly.

Edward entered full-time ministry at First Baptist Church in Milford in 2004. His role included running the children’s ministries of the church and developing material for Master Clubs. In 2011, the Barclays left the ministry in Ohio and moved to Loveland, Colorado to plant Hope Baptist Church. This storefront church has continued to grow during these last 7 years and has enjoyed many salvations and baptisms, strong attendance, and steady growth. Before he left Hope, the church was averaging 204 per week and had a record day of 448. The Barclays have now returned to Milford where Edward is serving on the pastoral staff of First Baptist Church of Milford.

Jeff Bellamy
Representative - Rock of Ages Ministries

After working in retail management for 24 years, Bro. Bellamy answered the call of God to serve through the Rock of Ages Ministries, Inc. Over the past 17 years he has served as a missionary evangelist, author, developer of the Character Under Construction curriculum and the founder of Baptist Youth Challenge Days. His main focus concerns ministry teaching and training missionaries and churches to reach souls in the public schools of America and around the world. Bro. Bellamy currently works with churches in eighteen states of America and ten countries with the ROA Prison Prevention Character Under Construction program.

Penney Braley

Penney has served in various ministries within the church since 1993. Since 2007 that has included the scheduling of the nursery department.

Howard & Jason Caldwell
Evangelist - Seeing Truth Ministries

Howard & Jason Caldwell are a father-son team of evangelists sent out by the Lighthouse Baptist Church of Winchester, Virginia. Howard and Jason have a combined ministry experience of fifty-five years. In 2006 they started Seeing Truth Ministries. This ministry is an independent Baptist Church ministry dedicated to the propagation of the gospel, producing target programs for the local church and providing itself as an evangelistic and instructional tool in the local church. They offer Family Crusades, Vacation Bible Schools, Bus Promotion Sundays, Church Camps, Sportsmen’s Banquets with live birds of prey demonstration, Revivals, & Missions Conferences.

Kurt Copeland
Youth Pastor - Franklin Road Baptist Church

Kurt was born in Pekin, IL on February 23, 1971. He is the youngest of four boys. Kurt trusted in Christ as his personal Savior on January 11, 1982 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mattoon, IL. Pastor Norm Amstutz led him to the Lord.
The Copeland family moved to Murfreesboro, TN in December of 1985. While working as a Ranch Hand at the Bill Rice Ranch during the summer of 1986, Kurt surrendered to full time Christian service. Kurt graduated from Franklin Road Christian School in 1989 and enrolled at Pensacola Christian College for the fall of 1989 majoring in Missions. After graduation in December 1993, Kurt and Christy (Payne) (also from Murfreesboro, TN area) were married on January 1, 1994. After serving 2 years as a youth pastor in Florida, on June 1st of 1994, Kurt answered the call to return to Franklin Road Baptist Church as Youth Pastor. Kurt was also able to earn a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies from West Coast Baptist College in 2009 and an earned Doctorate Degree in Pastoral Ministries from Bethany Divinity College in 2017.
God has given the Copeland’s two beautiful daughters, Angel Dawn was born on October 9, 1997 and then their second little girl, Gabrielle Daye, was born on November 7, 2000. God has blessed the Copeland family tremendously!
God has also blessed the youth ministry of Franklin Road Baptist Church. Since the spring of 2008, the youth ministry had experienced a strong touch of revival. With an average of over 200 teens in attendance each Sunday, souls saved weekly, and teenagers surrendering to the Will of God; the touch of God has been very evident. It is Kurt’s desire to see teens saved and surrender to live for the Lord with their life. After 26 years of serving in youth work together, Kurt & Christy feel God’s call to reach teenagers for Christ.

Rhonda Damhorst

Mrs. Damhorst (or Mrs. D as she is affectionately called here at First Baptist) was saved at the age of 12 while attending the First Baptist Church of Milford. As a faithful teenager in the church the Lord began using her to teach a Sunday School class of 4 and 5 year olds. Mrs. D remained in the church as a children’s worker from the age of 16 to the time that she went to college at Midwestern Baptist in Pontiac, Michigan. In 1971, she received a bachelor’s degree in Religious Education from Midwestern, and then continued her post-graduate years at the University of Detroit in the field of Education. Mrs. D counts it a privilege to have served over 50 years with preschool children, and for more than two decades she has served in Master Clubs with the Little Lambs and Shepherds. This year we are thrilled to have her lead a workshop in the Beginner Department.

Dan Delong
Director - BIMI Candidate & Deputation

For over 40 years, Dan DeLong has been serving the Lord in the ministry full-time. He had been in missions for over 15 years as a church planter for Baptist International Missions, Inc. (BIMI) He presently is the Director for the BIMI Deputation and Candidate Schools. He is in charge of recruitment of new missionaries around the world. He speaks in missions conferences, youth camps, revival meetings, and Christian school seminars.

Cathy Dotson
Principal - Wilmington Christian Academy

Dr. Cathy Dotson has served as a teacher and principal for 26 years. She is currently the Preschool & Elementary Principal at Wilmington Christian Academy in Wilmington, NC. Her degrees include a BS in Elementary Education from Pensacola Christian College, an MS in Educational Leadership from the University of Memphis, and an Ed.D. in Instructional Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She enjoys teaching, administrating, serving on accreditation teams and training teachers. She has been married for 25 years to a high school math teacher.

Bill Duttry
Senior Pastor - First Baptist Church of Milford

Pastor Bill Duttry was called to the First Baptist Church of Milford as Executive Pastor in August, 1998, and later assumed the role of Senior Pastor in October, 1999. He is a graduate of Midwestern Baptist Bible College where he met his wife, Pam. Pastor and Pam have three children. We are grateful for Pastor’s leadership role in this ministry and challenge you to take the opportunity to get to know him this week.

Sherry Ellington
Director of Distribution - Master Ministries

Sherry has served as the Director of Distribution for Master Ministries since 2005. She also volunteers as the Master Club Secretary for FBCM. Sherry is married to Ted and has four children and three grandchildren!

Rick Flanders

Dr. Flanders was born in Richmond, Virginia, in 1948, and converted to Christ in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 1963. He served as the senior pastor of the Juniata Baptist Church in rural Tuscola County, Michigan, from 1973 until the end of August 2007. During the time of his ministry there, the church operated a Christian school, conducted extensive evangelistic efforts, maintained a growing missions program, sponsored a weekly radio broadcast, and engaged in special ministries to correctional facilities and other residential institutions. Bro. Flanders earned his Bachelor’s degree at Bob Jones University in 1969, and completed the Master of Arts program at the graduate school there in 1971. In 1988, Pensacola Christian College conferred upon him the honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity. Pastor Flanders has written articles on a variety of subjects which have been published in both local and national periodicals, including the Detroit News, the Sword of the Lord, Frontline, Maranatha, Christian View of the News, Church Bus News, Pulpit Helps, Revival Magazine, and Preach the Word. He is keenly interested in the history of religion and religious revivals in America, and often speaks optimistically about the possibilities of a new revival era in our day. Dr. Flanders and his wife Toni have three adult children, a son and two daughters. In September of 2007, he began a ministry of itinerant preaching for the cause of revival.

Byron Foxx

Evangelist Byron Foxx preaches about 500 times per year, and is in one to three churches throughout the United States each week. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church, in Smithfield, VA. In 1987, he started Bible Truth Music, and serves today as president/founder. Bible Truth Music serves over 5,000 churches and thousands of Christian homes.

Michael Goodson
Teacher - Milford Christian Academy

Michael is a veteran teacher with over 20 years’ experience in both the public and Christian school classroom. He has served in a variety of lay leadership positions in churches.

Dan Jessup
Director - Master Ministries

Bro. Dan Jessup joined FBC in the summer of 2015 when he became the director of Master Ministries. Before his arrival, Bro. Jessup had spent almost 20 years as an ordained pastor working as an assistant at churches in Pennsylvania and Virginia. During that time he was an active youth director, chapel speaker, Bible class teacher, bus ministry director, children’s ministry pastor, adult Sunday School teacher, academy administrator, and most of all a successful Master Clubs director at the Lighthouse Baptist Church of Winchester, Virginia! FBC and Master Ministries have a great expectation that the Lord will use Bro. Jessup to give direction to the Loving and Leading Conference and to edify the children and youth ministries of our respective churches.
