Not every problem can be fixed from the pulpit. This does not mean that preaching is secondary in the church as God said otherwise, but certain personal struggles may require one-on-one ministry. In short, there can be a place for biblical counseling in the local church. This session will share some basic concepts about biblical counseling with special attention on how to determine what may require more in-depth, intensive counseling.

This workshop is for ladies who desire balance in juggling the responsibilities of family with the privilege of serving in ministry. God has a beautiful plan for meeting the needs in both areas while, at the same time, giving Him first place in our life. This workshop will include personal experience alongside practical information from Terrie Chappell’s, It’s a Wonderful Life (2008).

What is the Bible's definition of leadership? Leadership is often described with words like influence, service, empowerment, and ability. While these ideas may help, they don't actually define leadership. Leaders can't lead scripturally if they can't term it scripturally. This session will give a Bible-filled, working definition that will change the way you lead.

Practical tips on how to keep your students engaged in your class program.

We will define integrity biblically and consider how it looks in ministry life.

Healthy, short-term mission trips can produce long-term impact on the field and transform participants. This session will address the many ways church members can gain a global perspective from a short-term mission trip. Additionally, we will discuss some of the pitfalls of short-term work and how to protect our teams from doing more harm than good. Join us as we discuss how a trip of culturally-prepared and spiritually-prepared participants can ignite a mission passion among your church members, rally future missionaries, and launch long-term ministries around the globe.

Bronze, Silver, Gold, and even Platinum Guides and Projects -- where does one even begin as an Ambassador leader? How can leaders cover everything in one evening that needs to be covered for the growth and progress of Ambassador clubbers? Connie and Nancy will share some tips and tricks on how to run an Ambassador class that is time-efficient as well as profitable to your clubbers. They will also share how to encourage and help clubbers obtain the coveted Platinum Crown/Ambassador Award.
