Unfortunately, when dealing with fallen people in a fallen world, conflict is going to happen in our relationships. While we can't escape conflict in this life, we can approach it in a way that doesn't destroy our relationships and dishonor God. By learning to deal with conflict God's way, we can experience peace even in the most challenging moments of conflict that we face.

Failure is inevitable. Until we reach heaven, we are all going to continue to fail from time to time. Failure may be sinful. We may break God's laws and disobey Him. Failure may also be something non-sinful like genuinely forgetting something important, trying something new that just did not work, or accidentally dropping the ball or letting something slip through the cracks. Failure is inevitable and when we fail, it is important that we know how to respond to it God's way. Failure is hard, but God wants to and can use it for good in our lives. God can grow us, teach us, and bring about great success even through our failures.

Although there is often a great deal of interest in mentoring, many have a difficult time understanding what makes this kind of teaching relationship successful and what skills are required for a rewarding experience. This class will address mentoring in a ministry setting and developing a biblical framework that will produce life-changing outcomes that are obtained in no other context.

Using object lessons to illustrate Bible truth and point children to Christ.

This session will explore the possibilities of reaching your community by offering English classes to non-English speakers. We will explain the methods and procedures that we have used to launch our own TESOL program in our church. We will discuss how to break down the classes, the content to focus on, possible curriculums to use, and how to incorporate the gospel into every class period. We will discuss the challenges of working with multiple cultures at the same time. This session will have a question and answer time for very practical take-aways.

The minds of our children are continually bombarded by “influencers” on social media, all delivering different variations of the same self-serving and self-centered message: I am a winner; my life is good; my life has meaning; see how much I possess; if you do what I’m doing, then you will be a winner too; your life will be good; your life will have meaning…and it goes on and on! The source of this relentless lie, regardless of the individual “influencer,” is none other than Satan himself -- and it’s not just “the world’s” children who are beguiled by its siren song. In this session we will look at practical ways we can counteract this message and influence children to pursue a life that matters not only for this world but for eternity!

This course will not only train new leaders but also sharpen the skills and knowledge of experienced leaders who work with Master Clubs Beginners – God’s Little Lambs and God’s Little Shepherds. Included will be ideas and tips to run a successful program that lays the foundation for the faith of beginners in your local church.

We welcome children with disabilities into our classrooms because our desire is that all children have an opportunity to experience God’s love. Sometimes we try to make them fit into our way of doing things, when what we should be doing is making adjustments to accommodate their needs. This workshop provides basic information about various learning disabilities along with practical tips for ministering to children with special needs.
