An Introduction to Master Clubs

Location: FBC B14
Come learn more about the Master Clubs program with Abb Thomas (Founder) and Jared Maggard (Assistant Director)! Hear what makes it different than other children's ministries and see if it's a good fit for your church. Master Clubs will not only have a lasting impact on your children, but also your youth group and entire church. We will have a Q&A time at the end of the session.

Basic Hymnplaying: Building Confidence at the Keyboard

Location: FBC B10
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the hymnbook and wonder how to make your playing both simple and supportive for congregational singing? This beginner-friendly workshop will give you practical tools to make hymnplaying feel approachable and enjoyable. We’ll explore how to “shrink down” the hymnbook into clear, easy-to-play arrangements, discover left-hand fill ideas that sound full without being complicated, and learn how to create a supportive style that encourages confident singing. Whether you’re just starting out or looking for fresh ways to simplify your approach, you’ll leave with techniques you can use right away in your congregational playing.

Dealing With Conflict God's Way

Location: FBC B24
No one wants to experience the pain that comes when conflict in our lives is handled poorly. Unfortunately, when dealing with fallen people in a fallen world, conflict is going to happen in our relationships. While we can't escape conflict in this life, we can approach it in a way that doesn't destroy our relationships and dishonor God. By learning to deal with conflict God's way, we can experience peace even in the most challenging moments of conflict that we face.

Incredible, Edible Bible Lessons

Location: FH 6
Add a "Make & Take" snack to your Master Club, Sunday School, Day Camp or Children's Church that matches your Bible lesson or missionary story. In addition to relieving hunger pangs, discipline issues, and boredom, your children will really go home with the lesson deep inside. In this workshop, you, too, will get to "taste and see that the Lord is good" and go home with patterns to help add some spice to your Master Club or other ministries. This really made a difference this summer in eight weeks of Summer Day Camp for us! You will not only learn how to make these special treats but will also get some tips on how to get help to prepare ahead!

Learning How to Develop a Love for People

Location: FBC B23
This class is designed to help believers grow in genuine, Christlike love by studying principles found in God’s Word. Through Scripture, discussion, and practical application, we will learn how to love others as God commands. The lesson will highlight key passages that teach us how to see people through God’s eyes, develop compassion for souls, and practice love both inside and outside the church.

Removing Barriers: Practical Ways to Launch a Disability Ministry

Location: FH 5
Starting a disability ministry can feel overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to be. This session will walk you through simple, practical first steps to remove barriers and create space for every child and family to belong in the body of Christ.

Rightly Dividing the Word in an AI World

Location: The Landing
In a world where AI is rapidly changing the way we work, how should pastors and church leaders think about this new tool in their study? In this session, we’ll look at how to use AI wisely in sermon and lesson preparation—what it can do, what we must not allow it to do, and how to keep the Word central in every message.

What do Volunteers Hope for from their Leader

Location: The Hangar
It's not just about what we look for in a volunteer. What do volunteers look for in leaders who they want to follow and serve with? What should a leader do after someone volunteers for a task or ministry? How do I motivate people to want to volunteer and keep them motivated after they decide to do so?

Winning in Team Meetings

Location: The Landing
We’ve all been in those meetings that feel like a waste of time. Let’s talk about how to turn them into moments that bring clarity, encouragement, and real progress for your team.
