A Basic Guide to Biblical Counseling

Not every problem can be fixed from the pulpit. This does not mean that preaching is secondary in the church as God said otherwise, but certain personal struggles may require one-on-one ministry. In short, there can be a place for biblical counseling in the local church. This session will share some basic concepts about biblical counseling with special attention on how to determine what may require more in-depth, intensive counseling.

Biblical Leadership: A Working Definition

What is the Bible's definition of leadership? Leadership is often described with words like influence, service, empowerment, and ability. While these ideas may help, they don't actually define leadership. Leaders can't lead scripturally if they can't term it scripturally. This session will give a Bible-filled, working definition that will change the way you lead.

House of Worship Security - Building a Security Program

It is the desire of the First Baptist Church of Milford (FBCM) to ensure a safe and secure environment for members and visitors attending the church. The church should be a refuge to everyone; however, the realities of the modern world point toward an increased threat to church congregations. This session is intended to provide responsible persons with the basic knowledge and tools to develop and manage their own security program.
